A theme. I’ve always loved the idea of a clean structure, white space, image heavy with as minimal text as possible. At the same time, I also enjoy the use of big images set to a screen tone/grain effect plus an ample amount of text. So why not combine them both?
The one thing that I’m most intrigued by & would like to incorporate into my magazine is the term ‘lo-fi’; low fidelity. Within this post, I’d also like to include some of my preferences for the fonts & colours to be used in the magazine as follows.
*Fonts; bold, condensed, italic, light/thin – different treatments for different pages.
*Colours; b&w, bright yellow, deep blue, indian red.
*subject to change
Below are some images in regards to ‘lo-fi’ designs.
